As most of you know, I have been trying to get the perfect shot of the moon without success.
I know this one is very sub standard :-( but just wanted to show you that I have a photo of the moon - even though its daytime.
But hey, it's a start!!!
Just need a clear night with a good moon and the patience to keep taking the photos.
Yeay! We have a moon!

@Shutterbug: yayyy woo hoo I have a moon - lets party :-) Thanks shutterbug
I had a perfect moon for you last night, sadly I had a lot of problems focusing on it and don't think I got anything worth while (not uploaded yet).

Thanks Bob, I find that the focus is all wrong and ends up like a blob in the sky :-)

@Lorraine: Thank you Lorraine
IMHO, this is a very lovely capture of our daytime moon, Vanessa. :) I don't think it's easy to do it well, and how you've got it here is indeed very well done. I like how you've caught it against that pristine blue sky and with those wisps of cloud as well. This moon looks like it's floating gently in the heavens! I like. :)

@bronzebilly u.k.: Thank you Billy and if I put my mind to it, anything is possible. Thanks for your comments and support
Haven't tried, but I can imagine the difficulty!

@Walt: Thank you Walt
It's sooo hard to capture the moon, I think it's a great attempt, so soft and gentle. There is a harvest moon this month, not sure of the date but if it's visible at dusk then that maybe the best time to try and capture it :)

@MaryB: Thank you Mary, I know there is a waxing Crescent moon on 14th September and a First Quarter Moon on 19th September. Think I will have to use my tripod for any moon shots
It is so difficult to take a decent picture of a daytime moon, I have tried the last seven days, all rubbish!
This is so much better than my ones!

@Markus: Thank you Markus, I only took this pic by off chance. I was waiting for a train at the station on mums birthday, took a few shots and this was the best shot of them all.
